Meet designer and head artist Meg Bye to discuss your thoughts and needs. Meg will share her portfolio, experiences and get to know your priorities.

We gather to discuss samples created by Knot & Burl. Varying as to project relevancy, we will finalize sketches, material samples and aesthetic decisions.

The scope and number of iterations per sample will be determined at the Concept - Meeting and changes could result in an alteration to the final charges.

Final looks at budget, material, concept and production plan before building begins.

Most production takes place in our studio in Seattle, WA, however, we can do on-site installtaions if required.

Knot and Burl fabricates absolutely everything by hand in the United States of America.

Studio tours are available upon request.

We will arrange to have the piece installed or delivered depending on your needs.

Knot & Burl prepares some concept images, color samples, and or reference material.

At this stage we  work collaboratively to widdle down concepts and address any pragmatic needs from budget to building codes.
